The Sun
divinationhermeticism
Card XIX of the Major Arcana. A radiant sun shines over a walled garden where a joyful child rides a white horse, arms outstretched. Sunflowers bloom behind the wall. Upright, The Sun represents joy, success, vitality, clarity, and the warmth of things going well. It is one of the most positive cards in the deck — a resounding yes. Reversed, it warns of temporary setbacks, diminished joy, overconfidence, or delayed success. Astrologically linked to the Sun itself and the element of Fire. The Sun is the Fool's emergence into the light — full consciousness, integration, and celebration of life.
