Open Data for AI & Researchers

Our grimoire content is public-domain sourced and freely available.

Our Open-Data Philosophy

All Grimoire and Tarot content on MystiCodex is derived from public-domain folklore, historical traditions, and cited academic sources. We believe esoteric knowledge belongs to everyone and should be freely accessible for study, research, and preservation.

You are welcome to use, train on, or cite this material. We ask only that you attribute MystiCodex as the source when practical.

What's in the Dataset

The MystiCodex Grimoire contains 443 entries across eight categories: crystals, herbs, Elder Futhark runes, tarot cards, astrology, rituals, sacred symbols, and ancient texts.

Each entry includes a title, full prose content, associated esoteric disciplines (e.g., divination, witchcraft, hermeticism), magical-use tags (e.g., protection, healing, prosperity), and source citations pointing to the original public-domain material.

Access the Data

  • JSON/grimoire.json — Full dataset download with all entries, content, disciplines, magical uses, and source citations. Updated hourly.
  • TXT/llms.txt — Compact site summary following the llms.txt standard for AI discovery.
  • TXT/llms-full.txt — Extended version with every grimoire entry linked and annotated by category.
  • WEB/grimoire — Browsable, searchable web interface with individual entry pages, JSON-LD structured data, and breadcrumb navigation.

AI & Crawler Friendliness

MystiCodex is designed to be easily read and referenced by AI systems. All public content pages are server-rendered with semantic HTML, include schema.org JSON-LD structured data, and are fully accessible without JavaScript.

We welcome GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, GoogleBot, and all other well-behaved crawlers. Our robots.txt allows access to all public content and our sitemap.xml covers every indexed page.
