Ten of Swords

divination

A figure lies face-down with ten swords embedded in his back. The sky is black, but a golden dawn brightens the distant horizon over calm water. Upright, the Ten of Swords represents endings, rock bottom, betrayal, loss, and the finality of a painful situation. Yet the dawn on the horizon promises that the worst is truly over. Reversed, it warns of recovery beginning, inability to let go, or resisting the end of a chapter.
