Judgement

Card XX of the Major Arcana. The archangel Gabriel blows a trumpet from the clouds as the dead rise from their coffins — a man, woman, and child, arms outstretched toward the sky. A vast ocean and mountains fill the background. Upright, Judgement represents rebirth, absolution, self-evaluation, a calling, and the reckoning of past actions. It asks you to answer honestly: have you lived in alignment with your higher purpose? Reversed, it warns of self-doubt, refusal to learn from the past, harsh self-judgment, or ignoring a calling. Associated with Pluto and the element of Fire. Judgement is the Fool's final reckoning before completion — the soul answering its own call.
