Five of Swords

Upright, the Five of Swords represents conflict, defeat, betrayal, winning at a cost, and the hollow victory of having won the battle but lost something more important. Reversed, it warns of reconciliation attempts, lingering resentment, desire to move on, or acknowledging past wrongs.
