Scorpio (♏)

The eighth sign of the zodiac, spanning October 23 to November 21. Scorpio is a Fixed Water sign traditionally ruled by Mars and in modern astrology co-ruled by Pluto, the planet of transformation and the underworld. Symbolized by the Scorpion (and by the Eagle and Phoenix in esoteric traditions), Scorpio embodies intensity, depth, power, transformation, and the willingness to confront what others avoid.
